Holly Faust is the occult symbol/spiritual beliefs researcher for Phantom Detectives LLC. She is also the Founder and Director of Talking to the Dead Paranormal and host of her own podcast, DeadTime Tales. Holly is a paranormal investigator, writer, researcher, esoteric minister, Reiki master/teacher, psychic/medium, and child advocate. She became interested in the paranormal at a young age, watching documentaries with her dad, and when she started hearing and seeing things that no one else around her could. She also grew up not far from the Smurl Haunting in Pittston, PA., where she heard Ed and Lorraine Warren talking about these paranormal/supernatural things on her local news station in the 1980s. Her interest piqued in 1994 after the death of her closest friend, many told her he wouldn’t go to heaven because of his suicide. This is when she started on her quest for knowledge. At 20 years old, she was in a severe car accident and was clinically dead during which time she had a near-death experience. Over the last decade, she has put a primary focus on spirituality and occult research. Working on teaching investigators the importance of the clients’ spirituality in the investigative process, along with the importance of historical research. She also strives to aid others in a better understanding of occult symbols. Holly has been investigating for over 30 years and has had the opportunity to investigate many locations throughout the United States. She has spent a large amount of time in Gettysburg, PA, researching intelligent and residual hauntings. Other locations that she has investigated include Malvern Manor in Iowa, The West Virginia Penitentiary in West Virginia, The Bellaire House in Maryland, Mansfield Reformatory in Ohio, Sorrel Weed House in Savannah Georgia, St Alban’s in Virginia, The Keighley Mansion in Uniontown PA, Wildwood Sanitorium in New York, Hinsdale House in New York, and many others. She has also conducted many private investigations, where she aids families and others affected by hauntings. She had the opportunity to study under many veterans in the field. Holly was a guest several times on Paranormal Insider Radio discussing Gettysburg Hauntings and near-death experiences. She also had the opportunity to visit and see how the paranormal is investigated by the Rhine Institute in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was a member of the Paranormal Research Society for over a decade. Holly has also taken courses in parapsychology with the Koestler Parapsychology Unit at the University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Scotland. Holly’s focus over the last two years has been writing and aiding new and young paranormal investigators on their paths in the field.
